‘Ainahau o Kaleponi Hawaiian Civic Club of Southern California's main objective is to practice and perpetuate the traditions, beliefs, language, and the arts of the indigenous people of Hawai’i.
This objective is supported by programs that:
Keep alive the cultural practices, ‘ôlelo Hawai’i (language), hula (dance), mele (song/music), and traditional values of our nâ kûpuna (ancestors) for our children to practice and preserve their ancestral ties to Hawai’i.
Practice good government with good fellowship in the spirit of Aloha, kôkua (sharing), and lôkahi (unity).
Take an active interest in civic and social welfare of the Hawaiian Community, especially through supporting education and scholarship programs.
Develop and promote programs that increase community awareness and appreciation for the cultural practices, arts and culture of Hawai’i.
